Stay-at Home Moms, Caretakers, Nurturers
Being the primary caretaker for kids, spouse, and maybe others, takes lots of time and energy.
Sometimes there may seem to be none left for yourself, and you may feel…
• Swallowed up by your roles – wife, mother, daughter, friend, employee – with no time or energy for yourself
• Anxious for the people you care for to move on – go to school, move out – so you can finally do what you really want
• Like the “Real You” is hiding somewhere deep inside, waiting to come out
The “My Turn” Coaching Program can help you bring yourSELF back into your life.
Life can be so demanding these days. Kids have crazy schedules. Husbands want companionship. Friends expect support. Jobs require attention.
If you’re not careful, your needs can get lost in the shuffle
You came into the world with special gifts, dreams, and interests all your own. Are you satisfied with the way you’re using them? Are you being who you came here to be?
For certain periods of your life, the answer may be YES. Even if you’re setting aside some of your talents, you may feel satisfied that you’re doing what life requires of you at that time.
You may feel fulfilled enough to pour yourself into everyone around you, without stepping away to refill your your pitcher.
But what happens when your pitcher runs out?
Making time for self-care, putting yourself on your list of priorities, can fill you up in such a way that your joy and energy overflow into the ones you care for - instead of you emptying out all of your reserves and feeling depleted, you can fill others from your excess.
At the Family Healing Institute, we believe that a healthy family begins with a healthy YOU.
As the saying goes, “If mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy.”
In our “My Turn” Coaching Program you will learn to:
• Speak your mind with all of your heart – Lovingly say what you really feel and want. Make conflicts with the ones you love more productive and less painful.
• Remember your own name – Reconnect with who you are at your core. What do fun and fulfillment look like to you? Why are you here?
• Make yourself a priority – Restructure your life and responsibilities so that you can unleash your truest, deepest self, WITHOUT neglecting those you care about.
